How to set up an eSIM profile on Google phones?

Screenshots are for Google Pixel 4a running Android 11. The installation process may be different for devices of the same manufacturer/series. Some screenshots and operations may vary depending on software versions.

Note : Before installing eSIM profile, make sure your smartphone supports eSIM technology and is connected to Wi-Fi or cellular network. If you want to install an eSIM on your current phone, send the QR code to another device.

Follow the instructions below to successfully install the virtual SIM card.

If you already have the Tripocell app installed, you can open the eSIM setup guide there. For this, go to My account > My orders > Details > Android device > Google Pixel.

Option 1 - Scan the QR code

1. Open Device Settings. Select Network and Internet.

2. Click + and then Load SIM.

3. Scan the QR code on your Tripocell account.

4. If you want to start using the plan immediately, go to Settings > Internet & network. Select the last added mobile network (Tripocell). Activate the Mobile Internet and Roaming option.

After the eSIM is installed correctly, you are ready to activate and use the Tripocell mobile internet package! After activating your data plan, it may take 5-10 minutes for the eSIM to find a connection.

Option 2 – Install Tripocelli manually

If you have trouble scanning a QR code or simply don't have another device, there is another option that allows you to enter the information manually.

Before installing an eSIM, make sure your Samsung is eSIM compatible and connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data. If you want to install an eSIM on your current phone, send the QR code to another device.

1. Open Device Settings. Select Network and Internet.

2. Click + and then Load SIM.

3. Go to "Next" and "Need help?" a TOUCH
4.TAP on “Enter manually” and ENTER or copy and ADD the code you can find in the eSIM data in the Airalo app.
5.TOUCH "Continue" to install the eSIM.

1. Enter "SIM card manager" on your device, then enable the eSIM option, then tap "OK".
2. Select your eSIM card for mobile traffic.
3. Go to "Connections", then tap "Mobile networks".
4. Activate the "Traffic while roaming" option.
5. If your eSIM card is connected to the wrong network, tap "Network operators", enable "Automatic selection", then manually select a supported network.

After the eSIM is installed correctly, you are ready to activate and use the Tripocell mobile internet package! After activating your data plan, it may take 5-10 minutes for the eSIM to find a connection.

You can check eSIM status in Tripocell app. To do this, go to My account and select My orders.

Note: For security reasons, once Tripocell is installed, it cannot be used on other devices. Please DO NOT remove the installed eSIM, just turn it off at the end of your trip.
