How to install eSIM profile on Samsung phones?

Screenshots are for Samsung running Android 10. The installation process may be different for devices of the same manufacturer/series. Some screenshots and operations may differ depending on software versions.

Note : Before installing eSIM profile, make sure Samsung supports eSIM technology and is connected to Wi-Fi or cellular network. If you want to install an eSIM on your current phone, send the QR code to another device.

Follow the instructions below to successfully install the virtual SIM card.

If you already have the Tripocrll app installed, you can open the eSIM setup guide there. For this, go to My account > My orders > Details > Android device.

Option 1 - Scan the QR code.

1. Go to System Settings > Connections > SIM card manager.

2. Select Add new mobile plan.

3. Click Add with QR code
4. Scan the QR code from your Tripocell account. If you have trouble reading the code or don't have a second device, you can enter the activation information manually. Copy and paste the information from your Tripocell account.

5. Mark the new tariff as "Tripocell" to facilitate the subsequent search.
6. Select the new tariff (Tripocell) as your main data plan in SIM Card Manager > Default Settings.
7. Go to Settings > Mobile networks and enable Data roaming for your new plan.

After the eSIM is installed correctly, you are ready to activate and use the Tripocell mobile internet package! After activating your data plan, it may take 5-10 minutes for the eSIM to find a connection.

Option 2 – Install Tripocelli manually

If you have trouble scanning a QR code or simply don't have another device, there is another option that allows you to enter the information manually.

Before installing an eSIM, make sure your Samsung is eSIM compatible and connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data. If you want to install an eSIM on your current phone, send the QR code to another device.

1. Go to System Settings > Connections > SIM card manager.

2. Select Add new mobile plan.

 

3. Tap "Add mobile plan" and then tap "Scan carrier QR code".
4. Tap "Enter Activation Code".
5. Enter the SM-DP+ address and Activation code by copying, tap "Connect", then tap "Confirm".

6. Go to "SIM card manager" on your device, then enable the eSIM option, then tap "OK".
7. Select your eSIM card for mobile traffic.
8. Go to "Connections", then tap "Mobile networks".
9. Activate the "Traffic while roaming" option.
10. If your eSIM card is connected to the wrong network, tap "Network operators", enable "Automatic selection", then manually select a supported network.

After the eSIM is installed correctly, you are ready to activate and use the Tripocell mobile internet package! After activating your data plan, it may take 5-10 minutes for the eSIM to find a connection.

You can check eSIM status in Tripocell app. To do this, go to My account and select My orders.
